City of Industry, Ca. - April 16, 2007 - As the global leader of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial ATA (SATA) enclosure provider, AIC/Xtore is pleased to assert the prominent collaboration with ATTO to showcase unprecedented SAS/SATA storage systems NAB 2007. This goal-driven relationship allows AIC to emerge its robust performance and scalable server chassis, SA1-SD Series (RSC-3EC2-SA1S-2), in which it will be down-streamed to SAS/SATA JBOD and RAID subsystem

The SA1-SD™ Series utilizes single/dual SAS edge-expander for mission critical environment with storage redundancy and protection. The SA1-SD series 3U 16-bay host server chassis will be populated with ATTO's host bus adapters, R348 and R380 Cards, and Hitachi's Ultrastar SAS and Deskstar SATA drives to live-demonstrate its features, capabilities, performance, and reliability. Not only the SA1-SD will come into the scene, AIC's newly-released XD 2000 Series Fibre Channel/ SAS RAID subsystem (XD-SA26-316R-S), XJ 2000 Series JBOD (XJ-SA24-448R-S), XI 1000 Series iSCSI Appliance (XI-212R-ABB-WBH), and XN 1000 WWS R2 Series Network-attached Storage system (XN-104R-T2ST/XN-212R-T5S) will also take part as vital enclosures in our live demonstration.
